What is a Chamber Orchestra?

The words, “chamber orchestra” refer to a group of musicians who play
in rooms rather than a full-sized concert hall.
The sound restraints mean that chamber orchestras are smaller (up to 50 musicians)
in contrast to a full symphony orchestra (around 100).
Chamber groups or (orchestras) also perform in concert venues,
but a symphony would not be able to perform in a smaller-sized area.
The music is much more intimate and therefore unique due to the reduced number of
instruments, scoring, and acoustics of the performance space.
